The process begins with your practice completing a form that is sent to your bank. This form authorizes the bank to send all NSF checks to CollectCheck for collection instead of to your office. Upon receipt of the NSF check, CollectCheck submits an electronic debit to the checkwriter's account in an attempt to collect the funds. If the funds are not available, CollectCheck will attempt to verify funds availability. When funds are verified another electronic debit will be submitted on the issuer's account. Once the funds are captured, they are electronically credited to the Doctor's account. The NSF checkwriter's account will be debited for $25.00 to cover the collection efforts. You are not charged one cent! The account set up is free and the patient pays the collection fee. What a DEAL!
